Community Wellbeing and Mental Health Fund

Who is it for?

Grass roots community groups in Dorset providing activities and services for adults aged over 18.

What is it for?

Run in conjunction with NHS Dorset, Community Action Network and Access Wellbeing, this programme will fund community based non-clinical services focusing on wellbeing and mental health, including early intervention, resilience building and enabling people living with mental health conditions to participate in activities that support their recovery and wellbeing.

BCP Crisis and Resilience Fund

Up to £7,500 for one year grants, up to £15,000. Year for multi-year grants

Who is it for?

Organisations working in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole delivering activities that benefit BCP residents. Priority will be given to those based in the area.

What is it for?

This is a three year scheme running until March 31, 2029, distributing funds allocated by the UK government’s Crisis & Resilience Fund to BCP Council. It will invest in services, programmes and activities that build financial and community resilience to enable individuals to deal better with crises in the long-term and be more able to withstand and recover from financial shocks, and to reduce the need for crisis support.

Grass roots community groups in Dorset with annual expenditure over £250,000 delivering services and activities that address a broad range of local social issues, problems, poverty and disadvantage.

What is it for?

To support services that effect positive change and bring tangible improvements to quality of life for Dorset residents.

BCP Homelessness Prevention Fund

Grant size

Grants of up to £30,000 are available but applications for smaller amounts are welcome.

Who is it for?

Organisations that are local to Dorset and based in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

What is it for?

Organisations working with people at risk of homelessness or with people who are known to have higher risks of becoming homeless due to socio-economic factors.
